Funding Options Overview

Here are some basic information you should know about financial aid and funding options before you meet with your student.

Cost is and issue when deciding whether to attend college, but students shouldn't automatically cross a college off their list based on cost. Until students apply for financial aid and receive colleges' award offers, there's no way to know how much money they will actually have to pay. Scholarships, grants and tuition waiver are one way to help defray costs; often private colleges will have more money to award than less expensive schools.
