Scholarship and Access Programs Director - Contact Info
As a part of the Scholarship and Access unit, ASPIRE works in conjunction with OSAC’s other access programs, including Oregon Opportunity Grant, the OSAC scholarship programs, and a variety of other student aid programs, to provide assistance to Oregon students.
Advisory Team
The OSAC Advisory Team is comprised of experts in fields related to college access. Members offer guidance and technical assistance to program staff and are selected for their expertise related to the ASPIRE program.
Program Manager – Contact Info
The Program Manager serves to manage and expand the statewide ASPIRE program through ASPIRE staff support, development of the statewide Advisory Team, data collection, budgetary and funding oversight, and development of ASPIRE training and curriculum materials.
Region Supervisors - ASPIRE schools are divided into four regions, each with a Region Supervisor.
Region Supervisors provides support and guidance to participating ASPIRE high schools through in-depth on-site training and program support.
AmeriCorps Supervisor – Contact Info
The AmeriCorps supervisor administers and implements the statewide AmeriCorps grant through recruitment, ongoing training and member support. The AmeriCorps supervisor serves as a liaison between members and ASPIRE regional and site supervisors concerning member placements and progress towards goals.
Program Assistant – Contact Info
The Program Assistant provides support to the ASPIRE staff and high school site teams through publications, website maintenance and event development.
AmeriCorps Team Leader – Contact Info
The AmeriCorps Team Leader provides leadership and support to fellow ASPIRE AmeriCorps members through technical assistance and training.
Site Teams
ASPIRE Coordinator – School staff member or volunteer with leadership experience
The ASPIRE Coordinators manage the ASPIRE program at their high school. They coordinate many activities, including volunteer and student recruitment, training, scheduling and volunteer guidance.
ASPIRE Coordinator/AmeriCorps member - Currently 28 ASPIRE Coordinators are AmeriCorps volunteer members. AmeriCorps members choose to participate in results-driven service projects for one year or more and receive an educational award upon completions of their service. Other benefits may include a living allowance and basic health insurance.
Advisor –Community volunteer
Advisors provide one-on-one advising for high school students. Advisors are trained to help students with topics such as exploring career interests, planning for college or training programs, understanding financial aid, as well as applying for scholarships.
