Submitting Applications
Whether you are completing a multi-page college application, or writing a 500-word scholarship essay, the task can be intimidating. So here is a checklist for submitting applications & essays we have compiled to make the process smoother and ease your anxieties.

With all of the applications that you will be filling out, it is important to keep organized. We’ve designed a College & Scholarship Application Tracker (PDF) to help you keep track of the deadlines and the progress you have made in completing the applications.

Waiving Application Fees
There are fee waivers available for students taking the SAT, ACT, and TOEFL. Students who are eligible for the Free or Reduced Lunch program may qualify. College application fees may also be waived or deferred for eligible students who submit a request, either through the college itself or through a program like ACT or SAT. Individual institutions may consider the request, but are not obligated to waive or defer payment. Request forms are available through your high school counselor, who must also sign them.
